Midsummer Celebration

Come! Join us to Celebrate...with Bonfire and Pageant…

the acquisition of this protected farm for Bowsprit’s mission…the farm’s abundant earthly gifts…honoring the legacy and the history of this place - 
a 'spirit of place' ceremony will take place around the evening bonfire.

Join us for full day of community-making activity:

9:00am to 4:30pm - Ongoing demonstrations by local craftspeople
green woodwork; clay; fiber; metal

10:30 to 12:30 ~ Walk and Talk ~
a mile-long stretch of the Hills to Sea Trail
through the farm’s old growth forest down to Sandy Stream 
with Aleta McKeage and Buck O'Herin

4:30 to 5:30pm ~ Tour the Farm ~
hear about the project and programs

7:00pm to 9:00pm ~ Bonfire and Pageant
Fire symbolizes guiding ideas to action. Celebrate working with nature to create a more compassionate world…raise a blessing with your voices!

9:00pm to 11:00pm ~ Skywalk on the Hill ~
​(weather/atmosphere permitting)

Good food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available throughout the day
