Veronesi Forest Farm Eighteen minutes from Unity, in Montville, the Veronesi Forest Farm is currently owned and operated by Peter, Graziella, and family, with a historic focus on sustainable forestry practices. Future uses for this 120 acre homestead may include leasing to a Bowsprit Foundation forestry business.
*There are current leasing opportunities at the forest farm; either temporary accommodations for a farm family operating at Bowsprit until on-farm housing comes available; or as a comfortable home for a forester/and family, which includes a semi-separate second floor apartment. |
WoodSong Dairy WoodSong is an organic goat dairy that works a herd of Saanen, Alpine, Nubian crosses to produce chevre, yogurt, and kefir, which are sold in a variety of flavors on the farm, along with plain, raw milk. The goats are fed on grass in the summer and hay in the winter; the milking- does' diet is supplemented with grains to support their lactation. Born to farming parents who taught her the art of living in harmony with nature, owner-operator Sunniva has been working with farm animals since she was five years old.
